Heya folks,
Well, looks like we’re FINALLY getting tot he point of the Polar-Ball II Winter Game. Yay!
Can those that said they were coming and going to bring something please drop me a note back, and let me know what you plan to bring?
To those that said they could try to get there a bit earlier and help me with some setup, please also drop me a note back, and let me know if you can do so? Figure by 9:00 am
To the rest of the tribe, those that plan to make it to the game, 10:00 am is the start time. We’ll play as long as we can, and or until around 1:30pm, then start to pack down and get out of the park as soon as possible after that.
Hopefully we’ll be all at SHOOTERS TIKI BAR & GRILL on Wantagh Ave, in Wantagh, around 3:30 pm.
The outlook right now calls for roughly a clear day, and might even hit near 50 Degrees by day. ???? We’ll see about that. Still figure that it’s gonna be COLD temps due to the wind, so please dress and come prepared. Layered clothes, head, feet and hands nice and covered up, and bring whatever you need to play the game.
Most recently someone asked about footwear, what I said was Sneakers or even low rider hiking boots. The ground is FROZEN, and very much pocketed and divited throughout, so it’ll be rough terrain again. Be careful ! ! ! !
