Fundraiser Help for Anthony Giordano & Family :
Hi folks,
Last week I put out the note about Anthony having a stroke. Over this past weekend, I was informed that he’s now at St. St. Charles Hospital, Room 422, convalescing and recovering.
Thankfully he survived this ordeal, and now will be on the long road to recovery. I know that it’s been a tough few years for him and his family, and what I have decided to do to help out is try and put together a Fundraiser through all of us VBaller’s that know and love him, and get to him and his family whatever we can.
What I’m asking is for any and all who may want to help out, please get to me whatever you think you can and able to contribute. I’ll be taking cash and or checks made out to cash between NOW and up to October 27th. You can find me still out on Saturday’s and Sunday’s ( Weather Permitting ) down at Seamans Neck Park, and or through Mr. Bob Rozakis’ Indoor clinic on Wednesday’s at the Farmingdale High School. You could also mail me your contribution to my office at : #52 Commerce Drive, East Farmingdale, NY 11735, if you can’t make either of those two places mentioned.
You could ALSO give your contribution to Mr. Mike Kelly and or Mr. Dennis Gorman, if you catch them at one of the numerous other places that they play VBall at during the week, and they will hand that off to me.
By Saturday, October 27th, 2018, when we’ll be hopefully having our Halloween Game down at Seamans Neck Park, will will tally all we are able to make, and I will put together a Card, listing all those that are able to contribute to the Giordano’s, and at some point that following week get down to hopefully see Anthony and his wife Patti ( either at the hospital if he’s still there, and or drop by his home ) and hand the gift off to them personally.
I am not sure if at some point Patti, Anthony’s wife, might do a “GoFundMe” thing or not, or some other thing. So, that’s why I, after discussing with a few other of our SWV “Executives” :), have decided to try and do our own thing. I’m hoping that most of you might be interested in being part of this.
So that’s the note for now. Again, Cash and or a Check made to “Cash” given to me, and or mailed to my office up to the 27th of this month is what we’re gonna try to do. I know that whatever we can do will be greatly appreciated by Anthony and his family, and whatever we do will also be of a big help for them at this time.
