Hi folks ! !
Was a good start this past weekend, our first of the 2016 Summer.
Rained on Saturday, and had a bit of a delayed beginning, BUT, we eventually got things up and running around 10:45 am and played the rest of the day till around 1:45pm. Not too shabby. 🙂
Decent turn-out, and I’m really impressed with those that made the trip on out. Thanks!
Sunday, was a much nicer day. Beautiful in fact. Got a bit colder towards the end, but we had a great turn out, and I hope we may have even recruited a few more while down at the park that day. We’ll see. 🙂
We kicked things off on time, around 4:15pm, and kept going till about 7:00pm. As mentioned, was getting a bit colder, especially in the shaded parts of the court.
All in all, a great weekend, even under some tough conditions. But, everyone that came on out I think had a good time, AND the game play was pretty darn good. Like more than not, three hits and over good. 🙂 OK, well, I need more work, But watcha gonna due? . . . . . . 🙂
Will post my mid week note out tomorrow. Hopefully the weather will behave next weekend. Again, to everyone that came on out, that participated, that gave an offering for the cause, that showed an interested in the new model League T-Shirt I’m showcasing, and that played good volleyball, T H A N K Y O U ! ! ! ! ! ! !
I hope to see the rest fill in the blanks as things move on from here.
