This notice is what I hope is the first of all primary messages to the group from now on through the new Website. Things are still a work in progress and we’re not running at 100 % yet, however I should be able to reach everybody easier than before, as well as, even if I’m out there at the park for any last minute updates, you guys should be able to be notified. Also, we’ll be adding Text Messaging as well which will be better than just emails too. That was why I’ve asked for a cell contact from all. That’s taking a bit more time as the add-on we hoped to use had some glitches, but stay tuned. Lastly with this new website, we’ll eventually have other fun things which everyone will be able to get to see and use such as photo and videos for download, a general posting board for our members to use, a member’s contact page for further networking and advertising of any particular services you may wish to post to the group, and some other things too. All we need is the inevitable Money and Time to get it done. Again, bear with us as we grow and develop things.
Note for this coming weekend :
It’s gonna be a tough call, however, right now I’m saying all games are on for Saturday – May 7th start time 9:15 am, and Sunday – May 8th. start time 4:15 pm. Look for another posting from me Friday for a final call for Saturday, and look for a posting Saturday evening for a final call for Sunday. IF the temp’s are OK, and the chances of rain are slight, then we’ll be a go, BUT, if it’s gonna be COLD and RAINY, then I’ll have to postpone. 🙁 Let’s hope for the best.
A follow-up as well, thanks for those that have posted back to me in regards to wanting a SWV T-Shirt. We’ve got about half the minimum number that I’ll need to negotiate prices to an acceptable level with the company I’m using, so I again will bug all that if you’d like a shirt LET ME KNOW. Confirm back to me by an Email, and let me know your shirt size. We need a minimum of roughly 20, however, if we get MORE than that, then I can hopefully get the price down even a bit further.
That’s about it for now. Until things are 100 % with everything on the website, you’ll probably ALSO get this same or similar note via my typical email postings as well. I’ll also be keeping the Facebook page too, and post there as well for all those that use Facebook.
