SWV Weekend 14 : Sat. July 30th & Sun July 31st :
Saturday :
Games ON, unless you get a last minute note late Friday or early on Saturday we’ll be playing.
Start at 9:30 am. Please try to get there as soon as possible to get full games up running.
Weather forecast calls for a warm day and partly sunny. Be prepared; Foot and Sun protection,
bring WATER. Starting now until September, I’m also asking for folks to start bringing a cooler filled with Ice, as we may need it on the days and times when it get’s to the hottest point of the day.
Sunday :
This weekend Games OFF : Several sources show the weather to have thunder storms mid day,
right when we intend to play. So, for this coming weekend we will have to postpone. 🙁 Sorry, but for those that typically come down Sunday, please try to make the Saturday morning/early afternoon games if possible.
***ALSO, starting now, there is a new Sunday Gameday procedure that we’re going to have
to follow from now on. All VBaller’s intending to make it on down to play will be required to RSVP
me back no later than Thursday of each week. We shall need a minimum number of 12 persons
to both commit and show up on time ( 4:30 pm ) to make things work out. In order to be able to
get the courts and set things up I need to leave early, as well as, in order to be able to keep the
courts we need games to kick off when they’re supposed to, otherwise other people not part of
our group will. This is a First Come, First Serve place. Therefore, it will be UP TO ALL OF YOU,
each week, no later than Thursday, to get back to me and say YES. Then be there by 4:30pm.
I will then shoot out a follow-up Group Notice on Fridays to confirm we’re a GO or NO GO for the
weekend. IF I don’t hear back from you, that will mean you’re not planning to be there. If you
are coming “late” ( over 20 min. and otherwise due to work schedule ) that too will mean you’re
not planning to be there.
I realize that many folks at this time have schedules coming and going due to work, vacation, and
other things going on in all our lives. So, to ensure that we can keep things going well, I need
everyone to let me know and to be there when we start ( or as soon as possible ).
Everyone has all the ways to easily reach me, I now hope to hear back from you each week by
Thursdays to ensure we’re good. Again, starting at this time this will be how we’ll be running the
Sunday Evening games. The only other item to worry about is the weather, unfortunately just
like this coming weekend, we need to postpone :(. So, hope to see those typical Sunday VBaller’s
the following Sunday by following this new procedure. Any other questions or comments just
