Week 10 of playing down at Sammy’s Weekend Volleyball : July 4th Weekend Info & Games . .
Hi to all fellow VBaller’s. 🙂
You guys are awesome! To everyone that has helped out with things, contributed stuff, as well as, given to the Contribution Money Jug. We’ve raised a decent amount so far. Because everyone has been so helpful we’re going to play. A game called ” Guess That Amount “. Thanks to the idea by our very own Mike Kelly, we got a fun idea. Everyone has a shot at a FREE SWV Jersey ( upon the next bulk order ). To enter and win, what you have to do is simply Email me back, and Tell me what you think the total amount hit the jug to this point, as of June 28, 2016. Simple enough and similar to everything else we do, all you have to do is write an email and send it to me. By the end of the Third Week ( more or less ) of July 2016, I will go through all the entries, and the person ( or persons if there’s a tie ) who come the closets to the actual amount that we’ve taken in, BUT NOT GO OVER, wins the free T-Shirt ( Tank or Top – when I order the next bulk order ). SO, put on your thinking caps, try to remember what you saw in the jug, and come up with a total amount, then email it to me. Good Luck! Thanks Mike for this simple, fun and great idea! OK…..Now for THIS coming weekend. The July 4th weekend. July 2nd Saturday & July 3rd Sunday;
Games ON for this coming Saturday – July 2nd. HOWEVER, I’d like everyone that plans on attending this week to PLEASE RSVP me and let me know you’re actually coming down. Typical time ( 9:15 am – 2:00 pm ) We ‘d really like everyone to get down as soon as you are able so we can make up the day’s teams, and assure that we get the courts. You all know the drill.
Games OFF for this coming Sunday – July 3rd. Due to the July 4th Holiday, and from the response of those i’ve already spoken to, it seems that Sunday might be a wash out, SO, go to that July 4th BBQ a bit earlier. Have fun. Eat, drink, and above all be SAFE. Also, give some thought as to why we actually celebrate, and reflect on how damned lucky we all are to be in THIS country, and be a proud citizen of it.
